With the Montessori children's home, the educational offer in Dorfen has grown.

The founding of the school is still the aim of the supporting association.

Dorfen

– Girls and boys have been cared for in the Montessori children's home on the Tonwerk site since the beginning of the year.

Now the official inauguration has been rescheduled.

Another topic at the celebration on Saturday was the initially unsuccessful founding of a Montessori school.

Nothing stands in the way of future expansions in the house, explained the landlord, construction and real estate entrepreneur Robert Decker.

The medium-term goal remains "to integrate a school in the Montessori children's home.

It's a rocky road in Bavaria." The project has already been rejected twice by the Ministry of Education (we reported).

A "funny justification" from the school authorities was that Montessori would "endanger the existence of the school association from Dorfen to Isen to Forstern," said Decker.

You keep hearing about classes that are too big.

"Perhaps there will be an insight," he hoped.

The entrepreneur also admitted that the current approach to the children's home "still had potential for improvement".

After the factory railway crossing of the former Meindl brickworks was closed, there is only one access road south of the railway from the B 15.

On the way along the railway line - currently only for pedestrians and cyclists - he sees "no traffic hazard" on the main road, says Decker.

Deputy District Administrator Franz Hofstetter said, "The kindergarten group is an enrichment for Dorfen.

The children are the winners.” And as far as a Montessori school is concerned, the Ministry of Education in Taufkirchen also failed with similar incomprehensible reasons.

FW member of parliament Benno Zierer promised that he would appeal to his party colleague, Minister of Education Michael Piazolo, for approval.

The reason for the meeting on Saturday was "a holiday for Dorfen," said Zierer.

After all, there are different opinions as to which concept is best for one's own child.

It was "very well adapted to today's times".

Pastor Annette Schuhmacher and Father Stephan Matula blessed the rooms of the child care facility.

The Hague association “Learn with joy” is responsible for the house with a kindergarten group.

In the meantime, everyone felt very comfortable in the daycare center, reported Managing Director Stephan Weindler.

"It's wonderful in our kindergarten," confirmed the children and carers with a song.

The group currently has ten children, admission allows 22, said director Yvonne Fischer.

More recordings are possible.

The third mayor, Sven Krage, was pleased that the Montessori concept expanded the range of childcare options.

"It makes you proud to be able to inaugurate this facility," said Krage.

Dorfen is a "very young town with 20 percent under 18-year-olds," stressed kindergarten officer Barbara Lanzinger.

This is the 13th day-care center here, nine of which are run by the city.

The town of Dorfen has “always been open to everything when it comes to childcare facilities.

In addition to the regular daycare centers with inclusion groups, we have a natural kindergarten and now Montessori: Des basst.”
