North Korea continues its military provocations.
The latest: a medium-range ballistic missile that flew over Japan on Tuesday.
Tokyo confirmed the shooting, triggering an alert system and urging people in parts of the country to take shelter.
This test is not a first: Pyongyang had already launched a missile over Japanese territory in 2017. This time, the shot flew up to 970 km above sea level before stranding in the Pacific Ocean, 4,500 km from its launch base.
Japan, which immediately castigated an "act of violence", would not, however, be the target.
