The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the means of the Russian missile attack warning system have detected the launch of more than 150 missiles around the world since the beginning of this year.
The TASS news agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Aerospace Forces: “The talk is about monitoring the launch of Russian and foreign ballistic missiles and space missiles,” noting that the experts of the Russian Aerospace Forces issued 10 warnings this year about a dangerous convergence of space objects. With Russian satellites, while I followed about 250 space objects.
The ministry added that Russian experts monitored the launch of more than 2,000 space devices into orbit, and the experts of the General Center for Space Situation Reconnaissance of the Russian Aerospace Forces conducted experiments with foreign space devices.
It is noteworthy that the Day of the Russian Aerospace Forces commemorates the launch of the first satellite from the Soviet Baikonur Cosmodrome, located in present-day Kazakhstan, on October 4, 1957.
