At about 3 pm today (4th), a 27-year-old passenger surnamed Situ Nan in a KMB of Line 94, Tai Mong Tsai Road, Sai Kung, got on the bus with an electric unicycle (Hot Wheel). It was suspected that it had malfunctioned and started on its own. The wheels rubbed the ground and smoked continuously. The passenger got off the car immediately upon seeing this. The male passenger also broke the car window.
The police and fire department attended the scene to investigate, but no fire was found. It is believed that the incident was not suspicious.
The pictures on the Internet showed that the hot wheel was smoking near the exit door on the lower deck of the bus. A man suspected that he tried to pull the hot wheel to extinguish the smoke, but to no avail. Many passengers hurriedly evacuated to the roadside.
