Three young men from Markt Schwaben have been sentenced to two years' suspended sentences.

Markt Schwaben/Ebersberg – In full-body painting suits, with breathing masks and with a gas pistol at the ready, almost three and a half years ago, four young men stormed the ticket booth of a gas station in Moosinning (Erding district).
Only now has a judgment been issued against three Markt Schwabeners.
In a non-public hearing, the Ebersberg Juvenile Court of Appeal ruled on a two-year suspended sentence.
This was announced by presiding judge Frank Gellhaus at the request of the Ebersberger Zeitung.
The main perpetrator, a then 19-year-old from Plieningen, was arrested shortly after the crime and sentenced to three years in prison by the Erding district court in autumn 2020.
As in the film, one of the quartet took on the task of getting away.
The journey was so conspicuous that soon there were enough witnesses to locate the car and thus the main perpetrator.
The young man, who had skipped school for the robbery, had covered for his three accomplices, aged 16 and 17 at the time of the crime, for a long time.
It was not until February 2021 that the responsible police headquarters in Oberbayern Nord in Ingolstadt was able to report the conclusion of "lengthy and intensive investigations" and the arrests.
The trio is now of legal age, but since they were minors at the time of the crime, the court tried the perpetrators behind closed doors.
The three "made a good impression", reports Judge Gellhaus in the aftermath of our newspaper.
They had confessed and had had a positive social prognosis.
In addition, the verdict was moderated by the fact that all three accused had already been in custody for two months - and they were only accomplices.

Nonetheless, aggravated robbery at gunpoint is a crime punishable under adult criminal law with imprisonment for no less than five years.
In addition, the three young men were already known to the judiciary from other meetings - and had at least halfway planned the crime, for example by getting the painter's suits from the hardware store.
Therefore, it imposed the relatively severe penalty for juvenile criminal law, which can prove to be a heavy burden in the course of renewed crimes - be it when looking for a job or because the prison sentence can actually be carried out quickly in the event of violations of probation conditions or the law.
According to court spokesman Gellhaus, two of those convicted have already accepted the guilty verdict, the third will appeal and challenge the verdict at the next instance.
