The Wounded Al-Watan project announced the start of distributing “Wounded Al-Watan” cards to the injured under total and partial disability from 40 to 79 percent, starting tomorrow, within the smart card service centers in Damascus, followed by distribution in other governorates, respectively.
The project clarified in a post on its Facebook page that the wounded who previously submitted their identification papers at one of the smart card centers will receive a text message informing them that their cards are ready for delivery at the designated centers, either by them personally or by their representative under a public or private agency to receive the card.
The project indicated that the smart card service centers deployed in the governorates will continue to receive the data of the injured from partial and sub-total disability rates who have not yet submitted their data, which includes a copy of their civil ID, two personal photos and a valid family statement to be informed later of receiving the card as soon as it is printed.
The project pointed out that in the event of any modification to the data of the injured as a result of benefiting from the decree of aggravation of the injury or the law of multiplicity of injury, the injured can communicate with the project teams in the governorates to update the data on the card.
The project began by distributing the “Wounded Homeland” card to the total disability wounded on the 2nd of this month, which gives them many advantages and facilities to serve as an identification card for the war injury, according to which the wounded can conduct his transactions without the need to carry any additional papers proving the injury.
