The activities of the exhibition, which was held today by the community nucleus of women beneficiaries of the Syrian Society for Social Development, in the handicraft market in Baniyas, includes a group of handicrafts and works of recycling drawings, cacti, food and natural creams.

The head of the community nucleus at the Society's Ward Jouri Center, Bana Haroun, told SANA reporter that the exhibition includes the products of 13 women from the local community, of different ages, and that the aim of holding it is to shed light and enable the women of the community to enter the production wheel, introduce their products, and open new markets for them. Out of work at home.

Diaa Ayrout, who participated in accessories, like beads and wool, explained that the exhibition is an important gesture, and provides psychological, logistical and moral support to her, in addition to positive energy to prove her presence in society.

Khadija Kadour, who participated in food products from Manzil, indicated the importance of the exhibition, as it allows for the exchange of experiences and learning more, and to improve the quality of her work by getting to know the products of the participants.

Iman Muhammad participated in a crochet hook and wool, where she indicated that the exhibition was an opportunity to invest the effort in an optimal way, by presenting her products to a wider segment, as she was working within her home.

Khadija Satouf, 67 years old, from the Al-Ghab region and residing in Baniyas, participated in dishes and baskets made of straw, and expressed her happiness to display her work and introduce people to it.

Nour Asaad, participating for the first time with natural cosmetics using coffee, frankincense, and shea butter, in addition to laurel, olive, rose, and aloe vera oils, indicated that the exhibition is important to her because it introduces visitors to the exhibition about its products, and the importance and benefits of natural materials, away from industrial cosmetics.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition was held under the supervision of the Directorate of Social Affairs, the Municipal Council of Baniyas and the Union of Craftsmen.
