The family visited by Xie Zhanhuan and Li Jiyi together with the Fisheries and Farmers Care Team is Chen Zijian, a patient with a rare disease.
At the age of 14, he suffered from Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which affects only 1 in 5,000, and has a life expectancy of only about 18 years.
He dreams of becoming a YouTuber, using his own videos to influence lives with his life.
In addition, there are Chen Jiahua and Chen Youzhen's family. The two brothers and sisters suffered from "hereditary paralysis of the lower body" at the same time. The lower limbs were weak due to nerve damage, and they needed to use a wheelchair to move around.
Another patient, Chow Pei Shan, suffers from "Spinal Muscular Atrophy". She can move only two fingers in her body, but she can still complete and graduate from the English Department of the University of Hong Kong.
After the visit, Xie Zhanhuan and Li Jiyi both expressed their deep concern for the sick children and their families, and said they were moved by their perseverance.
Xie Zhanhuan pointed out that he hoped that the community would pay attention to them, and hope that there will be effective medicines and appropriate medical methods as soon as possible to help them.
