A promising experience in the field of drawing, presented by the young Bahaa Zaido from the city of Qadmous in Tartous, which reflects his talent, artistic sense and passion for the world of painting in which he accomplishes drawings characterized by realism and innovation, using simple tools such as pens, wooden colors, notebooks and Canson cardboard.
Zaido, 24 years old, a graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry, spoke to SANA Youth Bulletin about his beginnings in drawing, saying: “I was in the fourth grade when the art teacher discovered my passion for drawing and encouraged me to continue, so I used to draw cartoon characters by following them on TV in their smallest details.”
Zido pointed out that he did not learn drawing in the College of Arts or by following courses in this field, but his first dependence on his instinct and his love for drawing and his influence on his father, who was always the first supporter of him, who in turn was a painter as well.
Zido is distinguished by the art of three-dimensional drawing, and he believes that the most beautiful arts are what make a group of small details look realistic that you can see, as if they are real, indicating that his choice of this field came purely by chance, especially since three-dimensional drawing is difficult and requires talent, vision, focus and accuracy.
On the subjects of the drawings that he accomplishes, he said: “The features of the faces attracted me at first, so the first drawing in the second year of the university was of the face of one of my relatives, then I began to draw the faces of animals and others in a three-dimensional manner, despite the barrier of tension that afflicts me when drawing faces in terms of adherence to drawing standards.”
Zido added: Through drawing, I can express my innermost thoughts, concluding his speech by noting that he did not seek through his talent for any material gain despite the increased demand for his paintings, especially three-dimensionality. collective.
