Starting on a hill is pure stress for many drivers.
In Barcelona, a Polo driver is now desperate.
The TikTok users suffer with him.
Driving is fun, that's for sure.
But there are things that probably get on the nerves of most drivers.
Driving off on a hill should undoubtedly be part of it, unless you drive an electric car or a combustion engine with automatic transmission.
For some, however, starting on a hill becomes an impossible task, as a video on TikTok shows.
The clip was uploaded by a user named "powerfit3".
It shows a line of cars, mopeds and a bus waiting for you to finally be able to continue.
Among them is a white Volkswagen Polo, which is waiting at a clear distance.
For the driver of the VW Polo, the mountain becomes a feared opponent.

When the vehicles in front of him finally start moving, the Polo driver also tries to pull away.
He doesn't quite want to succeed.
Again and again he stalls his vehicle and then tries again.
After several failed attempts, the moped drivers behind him increase the distance.

A passenger even flees onto the sidewalk, where one of the two mopeds follows her.
Apparently with the plan to drive past the Polo.
After all, the Volkswagen driver seems to remember what he was taught in driving school and still masters the climb up the hill.

It is not clear where exactly the one-minute clip was made.
However, the hashtag bcn used by powerfit3 suggests that it could be about Barcelona.

In addition, the VW Polo is not the only one having difficulties on this mountain.
The TikTok user has published several videos that show road users who don't really want to start off.
There is no scorn or mockery under the video, quite the opposite, the other users even feel sorry for the driver:
