Claudia Marcela Valencia lives in the farming town of Arcadia, one of the most devastated by Hurricane Ian in Southwest Florida.
She recounted in an interview with Camilo how during the passage of the cyclone she had to hide inside the closet of her room, because she feared that the wind would uproot her house.
She expressed that "the sound of the hurricane is indescribable" and something that she will never forget.
