"Thought I was dying": RTL almost canceled the "summer house" challenge with Stephen Dürr

During a challenge in the "Summer House of the Stars", Stephen Dürr struggles with diarrhea and is afraid of peeing his pants.

Blame it on fermented milk.

Afterwards he sounds dramatic: "I thought I was dying".

Bocholt - In the "Summer House of the Stars" the couples argue, especially when it comes to the challenges that sometimes decide on the progress of the participants.

Already during the episode it becomes clear that Stephen Dürr has health problems before a challenge on the bike.

Already on the way to the place of the game, he explains to his wife Katharina that just a short time before he was just sitting on the pot and was struggling with stomach ache.

Before it even starts, he bursts into tears: "I'm so scared I can't hold it back," he sobs.

In addition to reassuring words from his partner, you can see how a set employee explains that Dürr does not have to face the problems.

In an rtl.de interview, the TV star now explains: The whole team had to wait 45 minutes while he ran to the toilet to do his business.

Only then did the challenge begin.

Stephen Dürr was super uncomfortable: "But I can't get down here.

I get up and start pooping again straight away,” he explains in retrospect.

"Just shitting": Stephen Dürr drank fermented milk in the "Summer House of the Stars".

But it didn't really get any better during the game either: "When we were there, I just concentrated on not shitting my pants," he sums up.

But there is an explanation for the misery, in which comrade-in-arms Mario Basler is apparently partly to blame: "Mario put the warm milk in the freezer so that it quickly got cold, and then it was forgotten there.

Then she was put outside to thaw.

Then she fell over.

Then she was put back in the fridge.

Then I took a coffee and poured it full of this milk.

Then I drank that and then at some point my stomach started... oh uh.

Then it really took off, that was shortly before the start of the challenge,” explains Stephen Dürr in an interview.

Drinking sour milk – these are the consequences

For a healthy person, there is usually no risk if fermented or sour milk has been drunk, as reported by the Bunte.de guide.

However, it may be that the immune system is not strong enough to fight off the germs or that a large amount of the bad milk was simply drunk.

Symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal pain or vomiting can then occur.

Then one thing followed the other, according to Dürr:

It also says: "I'm not a coward or anything, but it hurt so much, everything has warped." Apparently so much that he burst into tears before and after the game.
