The leaders of forty-four countries of the Old Continent, members and non-members of the EU, aspiring to become one or not, are expected in Prague on Thursday to participate in the very first meeting of the European Political Community (EPC).
An unprecedented closed session which precedes the informal summit of the Twenty-Seven scheduled for the next day.
This new format, pushed since last May by Emmanuel Macron

is supposed, according to the formula of the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, to
"bring together"
all the countries of "greater Europe" with the exception of Russia and Belarus. , at a time when the continent is going through its worst crisis since the Second World War.
