A 94: Greater restrictions are to be expected for some time from Monday

On the A 94, there will be significant obstructions and even closures between the Hohenlinden junction and the Munich-Ost motorway junction in the next few days and weeks.

In the next few days and weeks, there will be significant obstructions and even closures on the A 94 between the Hohenlinden junction and the Munich-Ost motorway junction.

The Autobahn GmbH des Bundes (South Bavaria branch) draws attention to this.

The main focus is on preparatory work for roadway renewal next year, the blocking of the entrance at the Anzing junction in the direction of Munich from October 10th to 17th, night-time work on the renovation of individual concrete slabs, and conversion work at the Markt Schwaben junction at the beginning of November and a major overhaul of the highway that will begin next year.

A press release states that the Anzing junction will be closed from October 10th to 17th in the direction of Munich.

The closure is necessary in order to rebuild the junction for the required construction site traffic management next year and to ensure safe trafficability of the junction during the construction period.

The diversion takes place via a signposted underground route via Parsdorf.

Preparations for fundamental renovation of the roadway in 2023 and 2024

In order to ensure safe navigability of the motorway until it is completely renovated, individual damaged concrete slabs are being renovated.

The renovation in the direction of Passau has already begun and will last until mid-October.

The work will be carried out at night between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.

During this time, traffic will be diverted in one lane past the construction site.

From November 7th to 18th, the concrete slabs in the direction of Munich will be renewed.

The work will also be carried out from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. - with one lane closed.

At the Markt Schwaben junction, the entry lane in the direction of Munich will be rebuilt from the beginning to mid-November in preparation for the 2023 construction site traffic management.

Traffic will be diverted here during the work.

The entrances and exits remain open.

"lifetime reached"

The roadway of the A 94, it is said, has reached the end of its service life between Hohenlinden and the München-Ost junction and will be completely renewed in 2023 and 2024.

In order to keep the unavoidable traffic obstructions as low as possible, extensive preparatory work will be carried out this year.

Since the work is being carried out outdoors, weather-related changes or postponements may be necessary at any time, emphasizes the motorway company.
