Angelina Jolie accuses Brad Pitt of violence - "One of the children choked and another one hit"

Angelina Jolie brought serious allegations against her ex-husband Brad Pitt in court.

He is said to have become violent towards Jolie and their children.

Los Angeles - In 2016, American actress Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from US actor Brad Pitt.

The former Hollywood couple is still arguing in court.

The main issues are custody of their six children and their assets.

Now Jolie raises serious allegations of violence against Pitt.

She submitted new documents to the court containing the allegations against her ex-husband.

Several US media quoted Angelina Jolie's court documents.

During an argument on the family's flight from California to France in September 2016, Pitt reportedly attacked his children.

"Pitt choked one of the children and punched another in the face," the filing said, according to the New York Times.

The actor is also said to have hit out at Jolie.

Accordingly, he grabbed the actress by the head and shook it.

In addition, he is said to have poured beer on the US actress during the argument and then poured red wine and beer on the children.

The reason for the dispute was Pitt's statement about Jolie's behavior towards the children.

So he is said to have said that Jolie behaved "too submissive".

Then he grabbed her, shook her and pushed her against the wall.

One of the children is said to have verbally defended the mother when Pitt pounced on the child.

The actress and the other children are said to have tried to stop him and protect each other.

"Everyone was scared and crying," the court documents said.

Violence allegations against Brad Pitt - FBI investigated case back in 2016

The incident on the plane happened just days before Jolie filed for divorce.

In autumn 2016, investigators investigated an incident on board an airplane - but did not publish any details.

In November 2016, the federal police informed the FBI that they were dropping the investigation.

No charges have been filed against Brad Pitt.

The divorce between the former Hollywood couple has been official since 2019.

But the dispute in court continues.

Jolie is said to have responded to a lawsuit brought by Pitt in February with the so-called counterclaim against her ex-husband.

In it he accuses his ex-wife of selling shares in a winery in southern France to third parties without his consent.

Jolie, in turn, accuses him of asking her to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

This would have forbidden her to speak publicly about Pitt's alleged violent attacks on her and their children.
