has the merit of setting the topography of this eminently romantic, funny, moving autobiographical story. .
In 2020, in Paris, the narrator undertakes to question his parents who settled in the French capital in 1975 after getting married in Lebanon.
Their stay was to last two years.
They did not imagine that the first confrontations were going to degenerate into fifteen years of multiple conflicts.
It is therefore in France that Kaïssar and Hanane will live, only going to their country for brief visits.
