Critical readings in three novels within a symposium of the Arab Writers Union

With the aim of nurturing and embracing young literary talents, the Arab Writers Union hosted today a number of writers and critics to shed light on three young experiences who possessed the talent of fiction writing capable of supplying Syrian literature with new blood.

The head of the Arab Writers Union, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hourani, stated in his speech that one of the union’s most important priorities is to pay attention to the different literary forms written by young people, especially those who possess real talents, in order to support and shed light on them in the service of culture and its future.

In turn, the Vice-President of the Union, the poet Tawfiq Ahmed, who moderated the symposium, pointed out the necessity of dealing with youth literature seriously, because there are many young writers who have embroidered our Arab history with the most wonderful things we are reading now, introducing the celebrated female writers.

In his critical reading of novels between the writer Riad Tabra, that these three experiences were distinguished in their narrative style, which possesses the elements of literary dealing with time and place, which heralds a decent literary future.

As for Dr. Ahmed Ali Muhammad, he explained through his reading of novels that the novel is the one that creates a sense of the writer’s humanity and makes him a different person, in addition to monitoring the suffering and suffering that exists in life, despite the presence of some errors that the three writers can overcome in other novels.

The writer Imad Naddaf pointed to the necessity of paying attention to youth literature and supporting it not only by the Union, but also by all cultural institutions in order to supply Syrian literature with new blood.

As for the writer Ayman Al-Hassan, in his critical reading of the three novels, he systematically showed many positives, using evidence of the ideas he brought, which embodied the ambition and hopes of those young people, while presenting his visions that he saw as useful for them.

As for the critic Nazir Jaafar, he shed light on what the three writers tried to combat of illusion, disobedience to parents, lies, clairvoyance of facts and cultivating love and tolerance, with a wide imagination and an interesting and interesting language that was able to embody love and loyalty and embody humanity, in addition to shedding light on the pain and suffering caused by the unjust terrorist war on Syria .

In his intervention, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shaher saw that the Arab Writers Union wants to supply its culture with new blood to mix the ambition of the youth with the originality of the past, leading to real literature.

And about her novel (Mirina does not see the light), Natalie Dalila showed that she drew her feelings on paper with her words, and tried to present a pure method that deals with the reader with serenity in an attempt to respect and appreciate what parents provide for their children.

As for the young woman, Joel Dakkak, she indicated that her novel (a tour of the ark of love) presents real cases of love between members of society and lovers in a time when honesty, sincerity and love were lost, pointing out that she focused on purity and sincerity because she does not want the reader to suffer through her emotions observed on paper.

The symposium was accompanied by a signing ceremony for novels, in the presence of members of the Executive Office, a number of heads of branches, members of the Union, and a crowd of writers, writers and intellectuals.
