Two people were killed and others wounded, in an explosion that took place today inside the compound of the Afghan Ministry of Interior in the capital, Kabul.
And the media quoted the emergency hospital in Kabul as saying via Twitter: The hospital received 20 wounded, two of whom died upon arrival, as a result of a bomb attack that exploded in a mosque inside the Ministry of Interior compound.
In turn, a spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Interior, Abdul Nafi Thakur: The explosion occurred in a mosque inside the ministry compound, while visitors and civilians were gathering to perform prayers.
Afghanistan has recently witnessed a wave of explosions, including the suicide bombing that targeted a school west of Kabul last Friday, which resulted in deaths and injuries among students.
