625 million US military equipment

United States President Joe Biden has confirmed to Volodymyr Zelensky that he will send new military equipment including four Himars rocket launcher systems, much appreciated by Ukrainians, 32 Howitzer guns, tens of thousands of light munitions and artillery ammunition, mine systems, and 200 armored vehicles.

Powerful and precise, the Himars are considered partly responsible for the current Ukrainian advances.

“Russia responds with terror”

In the aftermath of his decree targeting the Russian President, President Zelensky once again asserted that any discussion with Vladimir Putin was impossible.

“It is the Kremlin that is doing absolutely everything to ensure that this war only ends on the battlefield, not at the negotiating table.

Russia is responding to various Ukrainian proposals to stop aggression and liberate our territory through terror, criminal mobilization and political farce,” he said in his daily address last night.

A church targeted near kyiv

Kamikaze drones were reportedly launched at the village of Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region, where explosions were heard.

The head of kyiv's military administration, Oleksiy Kuleba, and the mayor of Bila Tserkva, Hennady Dyky, claim that infrastructure has caught fire, including a church.

One person was injured.

The mayor asks the inhabitants not to approach the windows.

The Ukrainian army is making "rather rapid and powerful advances in the south of our country", Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday in his daily address posted on social media.

“Dozens of localities have been liberated this week alone” in the four regions annexed at the end of last week by Russia, he continued.
