A mixture of relief and concern.
This Wednesday morning, near Square Forceval at Porte de la Villette, a few dozen residents woke up early to watch the ballet of police vans and diggers coming to clean up the site.
Makeshift tents, blackened mattresses and other remnants of a life of misery are gradually disappearing from this camp, wedged between the ring road and an old railway line, on the borders of the 19th arrondissement of the capital.
