A group of tourists from Germany was attacked in front of the well-known Kruger National Park in South Africa.
One of them was killed in the process.

A German vacationer paid for his wanderlust with his life.
He was shot dead in a raid in South Africa, according to the South African police.
The man was on Monday afternoon at 4.30 p.m. with three other German tourists on the way to the Numbi Gate at Mdluli Safari Lodge in the south of the well-known Kruger National Park.
They were stopped immediately in front of the park by three armed perpetrators who were traveling in a VW Caddy.
The four German tourists were traveling in this car when they were attacked.

When the tourists refused to get out of the car and locked the doors, a perpetrator opened fire on the driver of the car through the windshield.
He drove the car back about 100 meters and drove into a wall.
The driver died at the scene of the crime.
After the shots were fired, the perpetrators fled without taking anything.
