Education sets school hours for school students starting from 8 in the morning

The Ministry of Education decided to approve the start of work in all public and private schools and kindergartens, full-time and half-time, starting from eight in the morning.

This comes based on the Cabinet’s decision issued yesterday, which includes fixing summer time throughout the year and canceling winter time.

And according to a statement published on the page of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers today, the Ministry of Education clarified that the distribution of working hours during the day remains according to what was previously approved, noting that the decision was made after a technical study that showed that working hours during the entire academic year according to the new calendar start after sunrise, and end. For all school students at least an hour before sunset.

In a statement to SANA, the director of educational supervision in the ministry, Enas May, explained that a technical team, including the president of the Syrian Astronomical Society and the coordinator of the geography subject at the National Center for the Development of Educational Curricula, was assigned to study the different times of the day during the entire school year, as the technical team in charge noted that there is no effect school students because of this change.
