The transitional government broke new records for visits abroad • From diplomatic visits to a conference of an Israeli newspaper in New York - the ministers flew to 19 destinations, compared to the previous government's average of seven flights per month

The flying government: 14 cabinet ministers and the speaker of the Knesset flew to 19 different destinations abroad during the past month - three times the rate at which the ministers flew during the Bennett government.

The flights included political visits by the Prime Minister, security visits by the Minister of Defense and also participation in a conference of the "Jerusalem Post".

This is a considerable expense from the state coffers: in each such official visit, some ministers are accompanied by an entourage of assistants and security guards, each minister according to the security need or according to the nature of the visit.
