Turkey's invitation to the first meeting of the European Political Community (EPC) did not flow from source.
At least that is the message that Emmanuel Macron conveyed during a speech to ambassadors at the Élysée Palace on September 1.

, declared the president, specifying that France had
"no veto to put"
on the Turkish presence ,
“in any case for the benefit of a broad and as inclusive training as possible, but where the institutions of the European Union are not at the heart of the project”
