After fatal shots at a 42-year-old man, the trial against three defendants begins today in the Berlin district court.
The public prosecutor assumes that a years-long feud between two families culminated in a joint murder.
A 52-year-old father and his 34-year-old son and his 29-year-old cousin are accused.
Berlin – The son is said to have shot the victim in front of a shisha bar in Berlin-Wedding in early October 2021.
The 42-year-old was killed by two targeted shots in the head.
The two co-accused would have secured the attack.
According to the information, the alleged shooter and his father were in the so-called open prison at the time of the crime and were allowed to leave the prison during the day.
Both served three years in prison for joint dangerous bodily harm.
They received the penalty for an attack on the 42-year-old in October 2018 after a wedding party.
At that time, a sister or daughter of the two men was killed by a gunshot.
This had come loose from a weapon that another son of the 52-year-old had not secured adequately.
