Going to Europa-Park by TGV without a connection is soon possible!

2022-10-05T17:26:20.195Z

Good news for travelers from Île-de-France, the Grand Est or Bordeaux: a direct high-speed train will pass through Ringsheim / Europa-Park, a German railway station located less than five kilometers from the amusement park.

It's not just the high-speed attractions that induce thrills.

By the end of the year, the doors of Europa Park will open a little more for users of the

TGV INOUI

departing from Paris and Bordeaux.

They will have direct access to the

Ringsheim / Europa Park

railway station , which is less than ten minutes by car from the German amusement park.

Date of the first service:

December 11, 2022

.

The first tickets are on sale and are offered from €49 in second class from Gare de l'Est in Paris (about 2h37 journey).

Note that holders of the Avantage card will benefit from a price capped at 59 euros in second class on this journey.

It takes 6h23 from Bordeaux, with a price capped at €79 for holders of the advantage card.

Elected best leisure park in the world, from 2014 to 2022, Europa-Park celebrates Europe through its thematic districts which each represent a country.

A leading position that this kingdom of family entertainment in the Black Forest owes to its many specificities.

It is, for example, the only one to have within it a small 15th century castle, a river and hundred-year-old trees as well as a two-star restaurant, the Ammolite, located at the foot of a 35-meter lighthouse overlooking the hotel district.

Europa Park is also one of the most visited theme parks in Europe: on average, it welcomes five million visitors a year.

Until now, access from France was possible thanks to a train journey from Paris to Lahr station, punctuated by

a regional train ride to Ringsheim.

A journey somewhat lengthened by... two connections from Paris.

From now on, once they have arrived at the Ringsheim / Europa Park station by TGV INOUI and without a connection, they will be able to access the park from the station in ten minutes via road shuttles specially made available to them.

New high-speed connections from Paris and Bordeaux

SNCF also took advantage of the announcement of this new stop to expand its TGV INOUI offer between Paris, Bordeaux and Fribourg-en-Brisgau (the terminus of the line, located one stop after Ringsheim / Europa Park).

Thus, two additional trains will appear from Paris (Friday noon and Saturday morning) and one on Sunday at the end of the afternoon from Fribourg.

A new round trip is also appearing between Bordeaux and Fribourg-en-Brisgau: the first from the latter on Saturday at noon, and the second from Bordeaux on Sunday morning.
