The Russian ambassador to Belarus, Boris Gryzlov, confirmed that Minsk and Moscow were able to withstand the threats of Western sanctions, as they compensated for the losses caused by the West by disrupting their production chains in the shortest possible time and created new points of growth.
“Many years of systematic work have allowed us to remove unnecessary barriers, build mutually beneficial relations, and deepen cooperation within the Union and at the level of global and regional organizations of Russia,” Gryzlov said in a speech to the participants of the Forum on Security and Cooperation entitled “The Borders of the Union State,” held today in the Kaliningrad region. and Belarus to guarantee the security of their borders in literally all dimensions.”
Gryzlov noted that Russia and Belarus, even in the face of sanctions and unprecedented military-political pressure, today as the closest strategic allies are successfully developing multifaceted cooperation, conducting comprehensive work on the formation of a unified social, economic, humanitarian and defense space.
He stressed that Moscow and Minsk take a unified position on almost all international issues, and unconditionally support each other on regional and international multilateral platforms.
