They have cheated seniors in Munich out of their money on a grand scale: now a gang of fraudsters is getting their hands on it.
30 Fake Police Officers Arrested in Turkey
These arrests were worthy of Hollywood: 30 fraudsters were arrested in Turkey who stole 1.6 million euros as fake police officers.
And almost exclusively in Munich!
The police, public prosecutor's office and BKA investigated on the Isar for two years and were in close contact with their colleagues on the Bosporus.
On Saturday, Turkey was accessed: in six cities, special forces stormed 41 objects that belong to the call center ring.
"The main culprit, the head of the gang, could also be arrested," explained chief investigator Desiree Schelshorn from AG Phenomena.

For protection, the victims should hand over money and valuables to the alleged police officers.

Munich: fake police officers from Turkey fool local pensioners
The gang is accused of a total of 68 crimes - 45 in Munich.
Calls were made from Mersin, Izmir, Istanbul, Trabzon, Antalya and Denizli.
"We pulled the plug on at least these call centers and thereby prevented further telephone fraud," says Schelshorn.
In addition to money and gold, numerous computer systems were seized during the accesses.
"We hope that the digital forensic investigations will provide us with clear indications and approaches to investigating other fraudulent call centers." Because the sad truth is that there are more fake police officers out there.

But a 100-year-old didn't fall for it.
