Man raped in park – police are looking for witnesses

At the beginning of the week there was a rape in Kassel's Nordstadtpark.
The police are now hoping for information from the public.
Kassel – A 39-year-old man was raped on Monday night (October 3rd) in the Nordstadtpark in Kassel.
The investigations have so far brought no clues to the perpetrator, which is why the police are now asking for information from the population.
According to police spokeswoman Ulrike Schaake, the crime took place in Nordstadtpark, near the pedestrian bridge to Liebigstrasse, between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.
There, the later perpetrator is said to have first spoken to the 39-year-old, who was wearing a dress, then pressed him against a wall and kissed him.
Rape in Kassel: 39-year-old defends himself with kicks and punches
In the course of the rape on a park bench, the victim tried to defend himself with punches and kicks and called loudly for help.
It is not known in which direction the perpetrator fled.
The perpetrator is said to have been a 25 to 30 year old, 1.69 meter tall man with a normal to plump figure, who had short black curly hair and spoke German with an unknown accent.
The investigators are asking witnesses who can provide information about the crime or the perpetrator to contact the police headquarters in North Hesse on 0561/9100.
