Mansour calls on the international community to stop the occupation’s terrorism against the Palestinians

The Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, renewed his demand to stop the terrorism practiced by the Israeli occupation forces and its settlers, and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people.

Last night, Mansour was quoted by Wafa Agency as saying before the United Nations Legal Committee during the discussion of the item entitled “Measures to Eliminate International Terrorism”: “The most dangerous form of terrorism is that the rights of a people and the land of an entire nation are subjected to a widespread and systematic attack, and the Palestinian people are subjected to aggression and terrorism. By the Israeli occupation forces and settlers with complete impunity.”

Mansour stressed that the United Nations strategy to combat terrorism is related to strengthening the rule of law and not justifying its violation, protecting the people and not facilitating attacks against them, respecting human dignity and not giving pretexts to violate it, and addressing the root causes of terrorism and all demonstrations, not perpetuating them.
