After a month of fighting against the regional center for university and school works (Crous) in New Aquitaine, a handful of young people will find themselves homeless.
The administrative court of Bordeaux rendered its decision on Wednesday October 5: it requires that these four foreign students leave the occupied accommodation without delay.
The court thus rules in favor of the Crous in this case, which begins at the beginning of September.
At the time, the Crous considered
"illegal"
the occupation of its apartments by these students.
For the university establishment, their files no longer meet the social criteria and they can no longer claim a room in this residence.
A few days after the start of the school year, one of the managers of the campus, helped by the staff, had thus changed the locks and cut off the electricity of the accommodation concerned to encourage young people to leave the premises.
