A new opinion poll published today showed that US President Joe Biden's popularity has fallen to the lowest level during his presidency, just five weeks before the midterm elections for Congress.
The survey, conducted by Reuters Ipsos, indicated that the percentage of satisfaction with Biden's policies fell to 40 percent, down from 41 percent in the previous week.
Biden's popularity, which is declining, and fell to 36 percent in the months of last May and June, has raised expectations that his Democratic Party will lose control of the House of Representatives next November, and possibly the Senate as well.
