Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree transferring the management of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant to Russia.
The decree states, according to TASS, that “the government of the Russian Federation should secure the acceptance of the nuclear facilities of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, and other property necessary for carrying out its activities, into federal ownership.”
Putin instructed to identify the features of the plant's work until 2028, when the Cabinet must determine the details of the use of financial and other resources, to ensure the safety of the nuclear plant, issue licenses and solve other issues.
