As if by a miracle, nobody was injured in a serious accident on the A 94 near Dorfen on Wednesday night.
The damage is considerable at 22,000 euros.
Dorfen – The Mühldorf traffic police reported that a Mühldorfer (53) was driving his Dacia in the right lane towards Munich when he was rammed by a following vehicle at around 4.20 a.m.
A 32-year-old from Stuttgart was behind the wheel of the Hyundai.
The Mühldorfer's car was thrown against the right guardrail and catapulted from there onto the left lane.
The culprit's car overturned.
Both drivers were able to escape unharmed.
The A 94 was completely closed for two hours for the rescue in the direction of Munich.
The police assume that the 32-year-old had succumbed to microsleep.
That should cost him his driver's license.
