The director of the Real Estate Bank branch in As-Suwayda Governorate, Youssef Hassan, revealed that there is a good movement on deposits in the bank, in addition to the various banking services provided, and this reflects the volume of confidence in its work by customers, noting that the deposits registered in the bank amounted to 22 billion and 254 at the end of last month. million lira.
Hassan said in a statement to SANA’s reporter: “During the same period, loans worth more than 2.5 billion Syrian pounds were granted for various residential purposes, such as construction, purchase, cladding and restoration, in addition to the holders of Syria Cards for workers in the domicile country whose salaries are with the bank.
The deposits of the real estate bank in Suwayda, by the end of last year, amounted to 17 billion and 855 million pounds.
For his part, the branch of the Savings Bank in the governorate and its office in Salkhad granted loans during the third quarter of the current year, amounting to more than 2 billion and 856 million pounds, from which 1,062 borrowers benefited, according to its director, Mamoun Shuja.
Shujaa indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the granted loans were distributed as 906 loans worth 2 billion and 456 million pounds, through the branch’s headquarters, and included development for low-income people working in the state, military and retirees, loans for the comprehensive development of micro-free professions, and 156 loans through Salkhad office, with a value of about 400 million pounds for people with limited income for state workers and retirees only.
Shujaa indicated that the bank is witnessing a good movement of lending, while providing the necessary facilities to borrowers, noting that loans are granted with a ceiling of 5 million for people with low incomes, civilians and military, and a ceiling of 2.5 million pounds for retirees, while it amounts to 100 million pounds for purchase loans and scientific and liberal professions, while in Comprehensive development loans for micro-free professions are 5 million pounds, and for small ones, 50 million pounds, while the ceiling for the medium reaches 500 million pounds.
