At about 5 a.m., it was reported that a member of the public was passing by the Shayan Bridge on Shatin Rural Association Road and found a pair of sneakers beside the bridge, a pair of keys and a smartphone beside the bridge. It was feared that someone would jump off the bridge and fall into the river, so they reported to the police.

The fire department received the report and sent frogmen to dive into the water to search.

At about 6:00 in the morning, the frogman found a person in the water. At that time, there was no breathing or pulse. The ambulancemen gave first aid at the scene and then sent him to the hospital for rescue.

At the scene, the victim was a man in his 40s, and police are trying to contact his family.
