With the aim of launching the process of preparing sustainable development reports at the national and local levels, the Special Committee for the Follow-up of the Sustainable Development Goals held its second meeting today, headed by Dr. Fadi Salti Al-Khalil, Chairman of the Planning and International Cooperation Authority.
During the meeting, indicators of sustainable development were reviewed, and methodologies for preparing reports and their implementation programs were discussed.
Syria is currently working on preparing two reports at the national level, namely the “Progress Report and the Second Voluntary Review Report”, in addition to five reports at the local level that will be prepared for the governorates of “Tartous, Aleppo, Hama, Deir ez-Zor and As-Suwayda.”
