The suspected terrorist in the shooting attack on the Israeli bus and taxi near Nablus was arrested
Salman Imran, a Palestinian from the village of Deir al-Khatb, was arrested during Yom Kippur, on suspicion of carrying out the attack at the beginning of the week.
Salman, a Hamas operative, was arrested at the end of an exchange of fire after the security forces surrounded his house.
Imran's brother was injured during the activity, when he was outside the house.

IDF and Shin Bet forces arrested today (Wednesday) during Yom Kippur the suspected terrorist who carried out the shooting attack on an Israeli bus and taxi near Nablus last Sunday.
The wanted person, Salman Imran, 35 years old, a resident of the village of Deir al-Khatb, a Hamas operative, who belongs to the terrorist organization's infrastructure that planned attacks against Israelis.
Following intelligence information from the Shin Bet, IDF soldiers surrounded the suspect's house.
The terrorist shut himself in his house and fired at the forces outside the house, and the forces fired at the house and used special measures that included spray grenades and the use of a bulldozer.
According to the IDF, as a result of the shooting of the wanted man, his brother who was outside the house was injured.

During the activity in the village, shots were fired at IDF forces from Chemb Mokidim. The forces responded by shooting at the target, and identified hits on the gunmen and one terrorist was killed. After the exchange of fire, the wanted person surrendered and turned himself in to IDF fighters on the spot.
The requested person and the M-16 weapon he used were transferred to the General Security Service for further investigation.
The IDF spokesman added that there is an allegation that two members of the media were present in the combat zone and were injured, but it is not known as a result.
