The Moosinning fire brigade has received a new tank fire engine.
Cost point: around 480,000 euros.
Moosinning
- "Thanks to this vehicle and above all to the people who operate it, the Moosinning fire brigade is well prepared for the event of a disaster": These were the words the district dean, Michael Bayer, sent before blessing the new tank fire-fighting vehicle (TLF): "We can thank God that the development of the fire brigade is going so positively.” The vehicle blessing took place in the fully occupied equipment house in Moosinning, and the new TLF 3000 is now in the service of the active ones.
It replaces the old model from 1991.
By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.
When this once received its blessing, he was already there as a young altar boy, said Moosinning's mayor Georg Nagler in front of many fire brigade comrades and guests of honor.
"It has been with us faithfully for many years, and the old players in particular could certainly tell a lot of stories," said Nagler.
Only through the use of firefighters can a steel housing become a life-saving device: "What you do every day is charity in action," praised the community leader.
The blessing itself was almost the same as it was 30 years ago: “Priests and local political representatives also came back then.
Only the weather was better.”
The community spent a lot of money on the new TLF.
Nagler spoke of total costs of around 480,000 euros: "Of course that's a proud price.
However, the purchase makes sense and is necessary because the general conditions are changing.
For example, 30 years ago there were no vegetation fires.” With the new vehicle, the Moosinningen fire brigade is well prepared for the current situation.
Nagler praised the District Fire Inspectorate, which always stood by and advised on the way to a TLF with useful, but not all the desired equipment.
District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer had a huge praise for all those active: “Without you, no fire brigade would be possible, you put yourself at the service of people and help directly.” The fact that the district is at the top of the nation in terms of safety is also a credit the approximately 3,500 firefighters in Erdinger Land.
On behalf of the district fire inspection, Andreas Pröschkowitz addressed words to those present: “We need a well-equipped fire brigade.
This is a beacon for citizens in the event of a disaster.”
As the name suggests, the TLF 3000 has a 3000 liter water tank and also contains a 120 liter tank for foam.
Eight LED headlights and a 360-degree bird view camera system provide an overview. Inside there are, among other things, a power generator, a portable fire pump, a submersible pump, hose material and small fire extinguishers.

The new fire engine will probably not have to wait long for its first assignment in the service of the Moosinning volunteer fire brigade.
