A young woman was found dead in the Prien river in Prien am Chiemsee.
The police are looking for witnesses with a photo of the deceased.
Update from October 4, 10:41 p.m .:
On Tuesday afternoon, a large contingent of police in the area around Aschau im Chiemgau was looking for traces.
Among other things, the woman's black shoulder bag and black leather jacket were still missing.
More than 100 police officers were on duty.
According to the information, service dogs were also involved at times.
According to the police, it is clear that the 23-year-old left the "Eiskeller" club around 2:30 a.m. and then died under the influence of violence.
According to the spokesman, the background to the death of the young woman is still completely unclear.
In the club, which several hundred people visited in the evening, there were also several acquaintances of the woman.
They are now also relying on observations by club guests.
According to the police, an open question is whether the 23-year-old was accompanied.

The Upper Bavaria police have announced new details in the case of the dead woman in the Rosenheim district.
On Monday afternoon, a witness discovered the dead woman in Prien (see first report).
An autopsy was performed on the body that same day.
The dead man was unequivocally identified as a 23-year-old woman from Aschau im Chiemgau, the police said on Tuesday afternoon.
The 23-year-old was probably the victim of a violent crime: the police are looking for witnesses
"During their investigations, the forensic doctors also found clear traces that indicate external violence and thus prove a homicide." The officials cannot say more at the moment for reasons of investigative tactics.
What is clear, however, is that the young woman visited the "Eiskeller" club in her home in Aschau im Chiemgau on Sunday evening.
At 2.30 a.m. she left the discotheque.
"Where the young woman stayed afterwards and how the violent crime came about is currently the subject of investigations." The police are asking for witnesses and are publishing a photo of the deceased.
Who saw the dead woman (see photo) in the "Eiskeller" music club or had contact with her there?
Was the 23-year-old accompanied or did she have contact with someone there?
Who saw the young woman when or after leaving the "Eiskeller" music club or during Monday?
Who made observations in the municipality of Aschau im Chiemgau or in the surrounding area, especially in the early hours of Monday morning?
Who can provide information on the following items belonging to the dead: black shoulder bag (see photo), black leather jacket?
A special commission “Club” was established.
Soko investigators are asking witnesses who can provide relevant information to come forward.
