The authorities of the Zaporozhye region revealed that the Ukrainian forces were collecting information about the uncontrolled discharge of water at hydroelectric power stations, with the aim of flooding the Zaporozhye nuclear plant.
"The Kyiv system collected information about the capabilities of the nuclear power plant in case of uncontrolled water discharge, at the Kremenchug hydroelectric power plant, the central Dnieper hydroelectric power plant and the Dnieper hydropower plant," said a member of the district council, Vladimir Rogov, according to TASS.
He pointed out that the matter indicates that direct provocations are being prepared related to the collapse of the Dnieper hydroelectric power plant, or the opening of the water dam, and said: "The main goal is to flood the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant."
