In the sea off Kennedy Town, there is a luxury cruise ship moored.
"Hong Kong 01" investigation found that the cruise ship belonged to the Russian President Putin's political ally, Alexey Mordashov, a steel oligarch who was also sanctioned. The cruise ship "Nord" valued at US$521 million (about 4.06 billion Hong Kong dollars).
According to the voyage record, Nord departed from Vladivostok, Russia, and arrived in Hong Kong on September 28, and arrived in Hong Kong on October 5. It is currently anchored in the waters between Kennedy Town and Tsing Yi.
