The Upper Bavaria police have announced new details in the case of the dead woman in the Rosenheim district.

On Monday afternoon, a witness discovered the dead woman in Prien (see first report).

An autopsy was performed on the body that same day.

The dead man was unequivocally identified as a 23-year-old woman from Aschau im Chiemgau, the police said on Tuesday afternoon.

The 23-year-old was probably the victim of a violent crime: the police are looking for witnesses

"During their investigations, the forensic doctors also found clear traces that indicate external violence and thus prove a homicide." The officials cannot say more at the moment for reasons of investigative tactics.

What is clear, however, is that the young woman visited the "Eiskeller" club in her home in Aschau im Chiemgau on Sunday evening.

At 2.30 a.m. she left the discotheque.
