The Garching volunteer fire brigade complained of massive obstructions caused by inconsiderate onlookers who tried to walk to the scene of an accident on the A9 to take photos.

- On Saturday, October 1, at 5:24 a.m., the Garching volunteer fire brigade was alerted to the A9 towards Nuremberg.
At the level of the Eching exit, a truck crashed into a traffic safety trailer parked there by the Autobahnmeisterei, reports the fire brigade.
Fortunately, there was no one in the trailer's towing vehicle and the driver of the semi-trailer was only slightly injured.
The backup trailer was smashed.

After an accident on the A9: the fire brigade has to close the highway
Because of the size of the debris field, the highway had to be closed.
After the lane was cleaned, traffic in the left lane was diverted past the scene of the accident.
Fire protection was ensured together with the Dietersheim fire brigade.
In cooperation with the Hochbrück fire brigade, the site was secured until the motorway maintenance department took over at around 8.15 a.m.
On the A9: pushers block the rescue lane - onlookers get out and film
According to the fire brigade, this operation caused major problems with many road users.
A number of vehicles drove through the emergency lane to the scene of the accident.
The arrival of advancing forces was disturbed and was temporarily not possible.
In addition, people tried to get to the scene on foot and only returned to their vehicles after being asked to do so several times.
As traffic passed the scene, several onlookers were spotted filming and taking photos.

Already on Friday night, shortly before 1 a.m., the Garching fire brigade was alerted to the A 9 towards Nuremberg.
A sports car was thrown into the crash barrier shortly after the Garching-Nord junction.
The debris was spread across the lanes.
Both occupants were not injured or only slightly injured and were cared for by the rescue service.
The Garching fire brigade cleaned the road and, in cooperation with the Hochbrück fire brigade, secured the scene of the accident.
The TUM plant fire brigade ensured fire protection.
