Latakia-SANA
The Arab Cultural Center in Ain al-Sharqiya in the countryside of Lattakia held a musical and dance carnival entitled “The Trust is Yours alone” in cooperation with the Soriana Musical Ensemble.
The show began with dance performances from the Syrian heritage of the various governorates of Dalouna, Mejna, Qadud Halabiya and Andalusian Muwashahat, with the aim of reviving the intangible heritage of the region as a civilizational and cultural sign that has its roots in history.
The show included gestural dance performances in which the participants expressed human feelings that shake the inner self of man, and the values of attachment to the land and life.
The presentation included a segment entitled "Differences and Confusions", and another entitled "Transition from an Act of Love to Trust".
The work is collectively directed by Suryana Ensemble and the dances are written and designed by the artist Nour Ali.
