The municipality of Münsing turns on really big wheels.
Mayor Michael Grasl presented his statement of accounts at the town meeting.
Münsing - Mayor Michael Grasl (free voters) published his report in advance in the municipal newsletter "Münsing aktuell".
In the citizens' meeting, he therefore kept it short.
All in all, Münsing has no financial worries thanks to the expected trade tax record income of five million euros.
"We owe that to our medium-sized companies," said Grasl.

In terms of the new community center with town hall, the company is currently “comparatively well on the way” with a manageable, estimated cost increase of 500,000 euros.
The goal is to stay within the budget of 21.5 million euros.
80 percent of the construction work has already been assigned.
Commitment to expansion: Grasl wants environmentally friendly energies
Nothing is happening at the moment with regard to the mobile communications site in Münsing-West/Ammerland.
As reported, the municipality has commissioned a specialist office to look for an alternative property to that preferred by a mobile phone provider above Hartlweg.
In the coming weeks, a decision will be made as to whether the municipality will accept the offer from the company “Unsere Grüne Ozean, which would like to take on the broadband expansion at its own expense”.
The head of the town hall acknowledged the expansion of renewable energies.
He is open to the construction of two photovoltaic ground-mounted systems that have been applied for and to wind power.
In terms of local heating supply, existing gaps need to be closed.
Münsinger wishes: Better bus connections are high on the list for seniors
In a survey of the population over 60 years of age, better bus connections, faster internet and more offers for seniors were desired.
According to Grasl, the construction of the KWA senior citizens' home was expressly approved.
In this context, the head of the town hall appealed to all citizens to volunteer.
Neighborhood help and other non-profit organizations urgently need helpers.

They do not have to meet any specific requirements and would be trained at the district office.
The next training will take place on October 21st.
Tourism at Lake Starnberg: Day visitors are important for the Tölzer Land
dr
Andreas Wüstefeld from "Tölzer Land Tourismus" campaigned in his presentation for more acceptance of day tourists.
After all, they accounted for 51 percent of tourist sales compared to 49 percent for overnight stays.
As the fifth largest tourism community in the district, Münsing makes a significant contribution to the 335 million euros in sales per year.
The television recordings of the cycle race at the European Championships in Munich in the summer showed the world "how green it is around the lake".

Wüstefeld reminded that the infrastructure with bike paths, restaurants and lidos would not exist without the day trippers.
The eastern shore of Lake Starnberg is particularly popular with hikers, who should be welcomed, according to the tourism manager.
