Not all ground covers have green leaves in winter, but the creeping perennials or small shrubs in this photo series do their best.

Due to their dense growth, they also keep weeds away and often even bear flowers over the course of the season.

And if not, they impress with their beautiful foliage - for example with cleverly variegated green.

Another big advantage of these perennials: They multiply by themselves and require little care.

They loosen the soil and keep it moist, which is especially valuable in hot summers.

And it doesn't matter whether you have a sunny, shady or semi-shady place in the garden: the variety of varieties is so large that there is something for every requirement.
