Germering – It is a good old tradition that the state student council holds a competition for the Bavarian student co-responsibility every year.
After a two-year Corona break, all schools were again able to submit project ideas on the motto
“Political disenchantment – no thanks!”
this school year .
The award winners organized campaigns for International Women's Day, held junior elections, organized panel discussions, recorded political podcasts or were actively involved in local political issues.
Minister of Education Michael Piazolo
congratulated: "With your commitment you have impressively proven: You don't get disenchanted with politics!
You help shape it, you get involved and you stand up for a living democracy!
And you are incredibly creative and true organizational professionals!
My respect and my big thanks for your valuable commitment!” Piazolo also emphasized the importance of student responsibility: “School is always a place of learning for society and politics.
The democratically elected
student co-responsibility
is an essential element from which both students benefit who are themselves in the
SMV
are active, as well as their classmates.
The students of the SMV take responsibility, get to know democratic processes and practice them.
With their commitment, they actively shape the school and at the same time contribute to good cooperation in the school family.”
