An investigation into intentional homicide was opened after the death of a man found unconscious on Wednesday evening in the center of Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle), the city prosecutor's office announced on Thursday October 6.
The firefighters were called around 10:00 p.m. “
to rescue a visibly unconscious man
”: the victim was “
lying on the ground on his back, between two parked cars, his head slightly on the sidewalk
” and “
presented a major scalp wound
”, said the public prosecutor, François Pérain.
