The occupied Syrian Golan - SANA
Our people in the occupied Syrian Golan affirmed the continuation of the struggle until every atom of its soil is liberated from the Israeli occupation and its return to its homeland, Syria, stressing that the heroism of the Syrian Arab Army in the October war is a bright flame that confirms the inevitability of victory.
In a statement to SANA's reporter, the freed prisoner, Bishr Al-Maqt, confirmed that the October war, which was led and planned by the founding leader Hafez Al-Assad, restored the prestige of the Arab nation, pointing out that the Syrian Arab Army wrote the highest meanings of sacrifice, and the most wonderful heroism on the land of the occupied Syrian Golan.
In turn, Sheikh Jad al-Karim Nasser explained that the war is still going on with the Israeli occupation, from the glorious October until today, the battle to overthrow the occupation’s plans on the Golan land continues, indicating that the people of the Golan, thanks to their steadfastness and faith, which they derived from the spirit of October and its victories, which were set by the Syrian Arab Army, stuck to their Arab identity. The Syrians, and thwarted the occupation’s plans to impose (the Israeli identity) and the so-called (local council elections), and to set up wind turbines on their lands.
For his part, Madian al-Damaqi saluted Syria and its leader, President Bashar al-Assad, pointing out that the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army are fighting today battles of honor and pride over the entire Syrian geography, bringing back Tishreen's victory to mind, and expressing his confidence in the liberation of the entire Syrian geography, foremost of which is the occupied Golan.
Despite the passage of 49 years since the Tishreen Liberation War, the occupation continues to this day to hide many of its losses on the occupied Golan, from the battle of the observatory on the highest peaks of Jabal al-Sheikh through the battles of Baqatha, Thalija, Kafr Nafakh and al-Daboura, and the outskirts of Lake Tiberias to the championships of the central and southern sector, such as the army champions. The Syrian Arab school of sacrifice and courage broke the myth of the "indomitable army".
